Noise ruducing screen in along railway

Hammerglass-panels, posts and installation. The noise barrier in 15 mm Hammerglass with angled top, is mounted on HFRHS posts, corresponding to the Hammerglass Ground-2 System.

All barrier sections were provided with horizontal earthing bars and each stage of the barrier was earthed separately. The posts were fixed by means bolt groups embedded in steel casing tubes. The panels were installed in such a way that they projected 30 cm below the base plate, and following installation back-filling with broken rock was carried out. On the support wall, the panels were cut trapezoidally in order to avoid stepping of the barrier.

The 45 degree bend in the top of the Hammerglass panels reinforces the structure and at the same time contributes to an effective reduction in low-frequency noise from trains.

Post-Free Noise Barrier in Stockholm Bypass area

When the Swedish Transport Administration issued a request for an overlapping, post-free noise barrier in shades of green for the Stockholm Bypass project, we accepted the challenge.
