It is five o’clock, many have finished for the day - office staff, schoolchildren, mothers with prams - they are all on their way home. It is crowded at the bus stop - then the bus arrives.
Splinter-free balustrade solutions in Hammerglass form an effective barrier between travellers and incoming buses at the bus terminal. Should anything go wrong, a balustrade that does not scatter broken glass can be crucial. Our protective balustrades are delivered with fixed or openable parts. The panels are mounted on the existing balustrade construction, on our post systems, or by using fixing solutions suited to the project.
UNBREAKABLE GLASS IN STAIRWELLS
The stairs to the school yard, to railway premises and to open air public spaces are vulnerable to vandalism. With Hammerglass instead of glass in the balustrade panels, it is no longer as fun for vandals because the glass simply will not break.
Eliminate the embarrassment of broken glass following acts of vandalism, the high cost of clean-up and replacement with heavy and hard-to-handle glass panels with Hammerglass. The panels are mounted on the existing balustrade structure, on a our own post system or using fixing solutions suited to the project. Mounting the handrails directly in the Hammerglass panels works very well.

The home team scores goals, the crowd cheers, the pressure increases on the stands. With many people gathered in a limited space, the risk of accidents increases. With Hammerglass in the audience protection instead of laminated or tempered glass, that risk is reduced.
Our splinter-free solutions can be mounted at most public arenas (here at the Swedish National Arena). The panels are produced with rounded corners and bevelled edges to eliminate the risk of cutting injuries. Mounting on the existing balustrade structure, on a our own post system or using specially developed fixing solutions.
NOISE BARRIER AS WIND AND FALLING PROTECTION
Our noise barrier systems can just as well be used as transparent protection around playgrounds, skate parks, roof top terraces or outdoor cafés in the city centres. Effective noise attenuation in combination with a clear view contribute to a good outdoor environment for adults and children of all ages.

ARTISTIC PRINTS, COLOUR AND LIGHTNING
Hammerglass is normally supplied as clear or opal panels. With larger series of panels however there is the option of producing colour-impregnated Hammerglass. Hammerglass panels can also be screen printed or provided with photographic four-colour printing in order to create a lively and attractive street environment.
Digitally printed designs can either be coated, or be laminated between two 6 mm Hammerglass panels. When laminated, the edges are sealed to prevent water and contamination between the panels. A printed or colour-impregnated Hammerglass panel with strategically placed LED-illumination creates a striking effect, providing an attractive focal point of light in the night darkness.
